Meet Luke, Your Local Unanderra Plumber

Finding a reliable tradie in Unanderra shouldn’t be a gamble. As an independent owner-operator, Luke brings over 10 years of plumbing expertise straight to your door, skipping the frustrating corporate call centres. Because his business relies on strong local word-of-mouth, you can expect realistic arrival windows, fully transparent quotes before any tools come out, and a tradesman who treats your property with genuine respect.

Emergency Plumber in Unanderra

Plumbing disasters don’t wait for business hours. When a water main bursts or your hot water tank splits open on a weekend, we take the panic out of the situation. We provide rapid emergency response for homes across Unanderra, Farmborough Heights, and Berkeley. We carry the specialised equipment needed to secure the leak immediately, and always provide a fixed price before we start the repair.

Everyday Plumbing Jobs We Handle Across Unanderra

Unanderra features a unique mix of older established homes and newer renovations. Luke has the specific local expertise to handle the most common issues in the area:

BLOCKED DRAINS & SEWER LINES

Older properties in Unanderra often have aging terracotta sewer pipes that attract tree roots. We use high-pressure water jetters and CCTV drain cameras to slice through thick root masses, giving you a permanent clear rather than a quick fix.

HOT WATER REPAIR OR REPLACEMENTS

If your traditional electric storage tank has rusted out, or your continuous-flow gas unit is blowing cold, we provide fast, same-day changeovers. We install quality gas and electric systems so your family is never left without hot water for long.

LEAKING TAPS & SHOWER REPAIRS

A constantly dripping shower or running tap wastes thousands of litres of water, driving up your utility bills. We provide fast repairs, part replacements, or complete fixture upgrades for worn-out tapware and leaking cisterns.

GAS FITTING & LEAK DETECTION

From installing a new gas cooktop in your kitchen to urgently tracking down and isolating dangerous gas leaks, we provide fully licensed, compliant gas fitting to keep your home completely safe.

Unanderra Plumbing FAQs

No, we don’t. We provide a $0 call-out fee on all completed jobs within the 2526 postcode. Luke will assess the problem on-site and hand you a fixed quote. If you approve it, we waive the travel and assessment costs completely.

You can call us! We run a true 24/7 emergency service. Whether it is the middle of the night or a Sunday afternoon, we will answer the phone and dispatch our fully equipped van to secure your property.

Never. Hourly rates just punish you if a job takes longer than expected. We give you a firm, upfront price to clear the blockage before we start the jetter, meaning you know exactly what you will pay.

Yes. For urgent issues like total hot water failures, burst pipes, and overflowing drains, we prioritise same-day service across Unanderra and the surrounding suburbs to get your home functioning normally again.

A slow-draining shower is usually the first sign of a blockage building up in the branch line, often caused by hair, soap scum, or external tree roots. We can inspect the line with our camera and clear it out before it overflows into your bathroom.

Watch out for water pooling around the base of the tank, rusty brown water coming from your hot taps, or the system frequently running out of hot water. If you notice these, give us a call before the cylinder splits completely.

For all core plumbing, drain clearing, and gas fitting, you deal directly with Luke. For highly specialised phases, like electrical connections for a new hot water unit or advanced trenchless relining, we partner with a small, trusted group of local contractors. Luke manages the entire job, so you always have a single point of contact.

Yes. Our service area covers the entire 2526 postcode and its neighbours, meaning we regularly work across Unanderra, Farmborough Heights, Berkeley, and Kembla Grange.

Locate your main water meter (usually near your front boundary line or driveway) and turn the main isolation valve clockwise until it is tight. This will cut the water to the whole house and stop the flooding until we arrive.

Look out for peeling or bubbling paint, damp patches on the drywall, a musty smell in a specific room, or the sound of running water when all taps are turned off. If you notice any of these, call us immediately before structural damage occurs.

Yes. We carry a wide range of high-quality replacement cartridges, washers, and tapware in the ute. We can either service your existing taps or upgrade them to modern fixtures on the spot.

Absolutely. We are fully licensed in NSW for both plumbing and gas fitting, carry comprehensive insurance, and stand behind all of our installations with a lifetime workmanship warranty.
