I’ve spent over 10 years in the industry, and I’ve seen exactly where the “standard” trades model breaks down for homeowners. People are tired of waiting all day for someone who never shows up, getting hit with “surprise” invoices, and having to coordinate three different companies just to fix one problem. I started Jones & Co. because I wanted to do things differently.
I wanted to build a business that combines high-level plumbing and electrical expertise with the kind of old-school service that seems to be disappearing.

Why we put plumbing and electrical under one roof.
In my experience, home emergencies don’t usually stay in their own lane. If a hot water tank splits, the first thing it’s going to do is flood the electrical components or the power points sitting right next to it. If a storm hits the Illawarra hard, a roof leak can easily find its way into your ceiling lights before you even know there’s a problem.
We just wanted to take the hassle out of those situations. Usually, you’d be stuck trying to coordinate with two different companies and paying two separate call-out fees just to get the power and water back on. Because we handle both trades, we coordinate them for you. We make sure that by the time the leak is stopped, the power is tested and restored during the same visit. It’s just a simpler way to get your home back to normal.
